Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Doctor / General Practitioner to join our dynamic team in Garland, Texas. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced physician committed to providing high-quality primary care to a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary medical care to patients of all ages.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and other health conditions.
- Conduct physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and other therapies as appropriate.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Refer patients to specialists as needed and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
- Participate in continuing medical education and professional development activities.
- Adhere to all medical ethics, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid medical license to practice in Texas (or eligible for licensure).
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Family Medicine or General Practice.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience post-residency.
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and empathy skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Board certification in Family Medicine or General Practice.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations and cultural backgrounds.
- Fluency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin).
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Previous experience in a community health setting.
