Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our esteemed faculty at Bell Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and guide international students on their language learning journey. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English language lessons, fostering a positive classroom environment, and helping students achieve their academic and personal goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of English, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to student success. This role requires an ability to adapt teaching methods to suit various learning styles and proficiency levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English language lessons to diverse groups of students.
- Assess student progress through regular testing, assignments, and feedback, providing constructive guidance.
- Develop and adapt course materials to meet the specific needs and interests of students.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and grades.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students, addressing their queries and concerns.
- Adhere to Bell Cambridge's safeguarding policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- CELTA, DELTA, Trinity CertTESOL, or equivalent recognized TEFL qualification.
- Native or near-native fluency in English (CEFR C2 level).
- Proven ability to teach English effectively to non-native speakers of varying levels.
- Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
- Experience teaching specific English for Academic Purposes (EAP) or Business English.
- Knowledge of an additional language.
- Experience living or working abroad.
