Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented individual with strong typing skills looking to kickstart your career in customer service? Angi is seeking enthusiastic Home Advisor Trainees to join our growing team in Bakersfield. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals eager to learn about the home services industry and develop valuable customer interaction skills. You will be trained to assist homeowners in connecting with service professionals, primarily through typing-based communication and data entry, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience. No prior experience in the home services industry is required; we provide comprehensive training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete extensive training on Angi's platform, services, and customer interaction protocols.
  • Accurately record and update customer information and service requests using our internal systems.
  • Communicate effectively with homeowners through typing, responding to inquiries and guiding them through the service request process.
  • Assist homeowners in identifying their service needs and matching them with appropriate service professionals.
  • Maintain a high level of data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including data privacy and customer confidentiality.

Required Skills

  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy (minimum 45 WPM).
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple applications.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes.
