Job Description

Join Coach USA as a Charter Coach Driver and embark on an exciting career traveling across the USA! We are seeking dedicated and professional drivers to operate our modern fleet of motorcoaches on national tours, providing safe, comfortable, and memorable experiences for our passengers. This role involves long-haul driving, excellent customer service, and the ability to adapt to various routes and schedules. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate motorcoaches on scheduled national tours, adhering to all traffic laws and company regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring all safety components are in proper working order.
  • Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage, ensuring proper storage and security.
  • Maintain a detailed log of trips, including mileage, hours of service, and any incidents.
  • Communicate effectively with tour guides, dispatch, and passengers, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Handle passenger inquiries and resolve minor issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and presentability of the coach interior and exterior.
  • Manage fuel stops and other service needs during long-distance travel.
  • Represent Coach USA in a professional manner at all times.

Required Skills

  • Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement.
  • Airbrake endorsement required.
  • Minimum of 2 years (24 months) of commercial driving experience, preferably with passenger vehicles.
  • Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all DOT regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and extended periods away from home.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with national tour operations or long-haul bus driving.
  • Customer service experience in a transportation or hospitality setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs).
