Job Description

We are seeking a highly energetic and engaging Wellness Screening Nurse to join our team for corporate events. This role is perfect for a Registered Nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys interacting with a diverse group of participants, and has a passion for promoting health and wellness. You will be responsible for conducting various health screenings at corporate client locations, providing brief health education, and ensuring a positive and professional experience for all attendees. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to maintain a high level of enthusiasm throughout events.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform various health screenings including, but not limited to, blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, body composition analysis, and vision screenings.
• Accurately record and document screening results using designated systems and protocols.
• Provide brief, clear, and actionable health education and guidance to participants based on screening results.
• Engage enthusiastically with participants, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere at all corporate events.
• Set up and break down screening stations efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all participant information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and safely stored.
• Collaborate effectively with event coordinators and other team members to ensure smooth event execution.
• Represent Premise Health with professionalism and a commitment to excellent service at all times.

Required Skills

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse populations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated high energy level, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs for event setup/breakdown.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Experience in corporate wellness, community health, or event-based health screenings.
• Certifications such as BLS (Basic Life Support) or ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• Familiarity with various health screening equipment and software.
• Bilingual skills (especially Spanish) are a plus.
