Job Description

Are you a bright, enthusiastic individual with a passion for people and a keen interest in the beauty industry? Rush Hair & Beauty in Shoreditch is looking for a Salon Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our bustling salon. No prior experience? No problem! We’re seeking someone with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a desire to learn. We will provide comprehensive training to equip you with all the skills needed to excel in this role. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet clients, check them in for appointments, and ensure a comfortable waiting experience.
  • Manage the salon's appointment book efficiently, scheduling and rescheduling appointments.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and manage client inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Process payments and manage the till, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the reception area and waiting lounge.
  • Assist with general salon upkeep, ensuring a pristine environment for clients and staff.
  • Support the salon management and stylists with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Promote salon services and retail products to clients.
  • Handle client feedback and resolve minor issues with a customer-first approach.

  • Basic computer literacy for managing appointments and payments.
