Job Description
Are you looking for a part-time role that fits your weekend schedule? Meijer is seeking a dedicated Weekend Inventory Clerk to join our Grand Rapids team. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Process incoming and outgoing merchandise, including scanning, labeling, and shelving products.
- Organize and maintain the stockroom, ensuring items are stored efficiently and safely.
- Identify and report damaged or defective goods.
- Assist with product rotations and ensuring proper stock levels on the sales floor.
- Collaborate with store management and sales associates to address inventory-related issues.
- Adhere to all company safety and security procedures.
- Utilize handheld scanners and inventory management software for data entry and tracking.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Reliability and punctuality for weekend shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment.
