Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and user-focused Web Navigation Labeler to join our UX Research team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in improving the usability and discoverability of our web products by precisely labeling and categorizing navigation elements. Your work will directly inform our UX researchers and designers, helping them understand user behavior and optimize navigational structures for a seamless user experience. This position requires keen attention to detail, a strong analytical mindset, and an interest in how users interact with digital interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately analyze, label, and categorize web navigation elements (e.g., links, menus, buttons, search bars) according to predefined guidelines and taxonomies.
- Provide constructive and detailed feedback on labeling guidelines, identifying areas for improvement and consistency.
- Collaborate closely with UX researchers and product teams to understand project goals and the impact of labeling on user studies.
- Maintain high standards of data quality and consistency across all labeling tasks.
- Participate in regular calibration sessions to ensure alignment with team standards and evolving project requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our internal tools and processes by sharing insights and observations from labeling activities.
Required Skills

- Familiarity with various web interfaces, content structures, and navigation patterns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Background or coursework in UX design, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, Psychology, or a related field.
- Previous experience with data annotation, content categorization, or quality assurance.
- Basic understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
- Experience working with complex digital products or large datasets.
