Job Description

Join IBM’s dedicated scientific research team as a Weather Data Annotator, providing essential support to advance our meteorological and climate research initiatives. In this role, you will play a crucial part in preparing high-quality datasets for machine learning models used in weather forecasting and climate analysis. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately annotate and categorize diverse weather-related data, including satellite imagery, radar output, sensor readings, and atmospheric model outputs.

  • Collaborate closely with meteorologists, data scientists, and engineers to understand project requirements and refine annotation methodologies.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on annotated datasets to identify and correct discrepancies.
  • Provide constructive feedback on annotation tools and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain detailed records of annotation progress and data integrity.
