Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Virtual Medical Receptionist to join our growing telehealth team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in healthcare administration, with comprehensive paid training provided. As a Virtual Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our telehealth patients, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience from initial contact to appointment follow-up. Key Responsibilities
- Manage virtual patient reception, including greeting patients via video/chat and assisting with initial inquiries.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm telehealth appointments efficiently.
- Verify patient demographics and insurance information.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and chat messages, directing them to the appropriate medical professional.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA/PHIPA regulations.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks to support the telehealth clinic's operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Process virtual check-ins and check-outs for telehealth consultations.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office environment.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality with the utmost integrity.

Preferred Qualifications
