Job Description

You’ll undergo comprehensive training, learning everything from vehicle operation and safety protocols to customer service excellence, ensuring you are fully equipped and confident behind the wheel.
Key Responsibilities
- Successfully complete all required training for your PCV licence.
- Operate transit buses safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service to all passengers, including assisting with inquiries and ensuring a pleasant ride.
- Collect fares and issue transfers accurately.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors.
- Handle unexpected situations with professionalism and calm.
- Maintain punctuality and adherence to schedules.
Required Skills
- Valid G Class Driver's Licence (or equivalent) with a clean driving record for at least 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and medical examination.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
- Familiarity with the Windsor area road network.
