Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical User Interface (UI) Evaluator to join our growing AI Experience Testing team in Swansea. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for rigorously evaluating the user interfaces of our AI-powered products and services. You will identify usability issues, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement, ensuring that our AI interactions are intuitive, efficient, and delightful for our diverse user base. Your insights will directly influence the development cycle, working closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to enhance the overall user experience of our cutting-edge AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive UI/UX evaluations and heuristic analyses of AI-driven applications and features.
- Identify, document, and prioritize usability issues, bugs, and inconsistencies in user interfaces.
- Provide clear, actionable feedback and recommendations for UI improvements based on user-centered design principles.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, UX/UI designers, and software engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Develop and execute test plans for specific AI interaction scenarios and user journeys.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging AI technologies, and user interface trends.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in UI/UX evaluation, usability testing, or quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability heuristics.
- Excellent analytical skills with an ability to identify and articulate complex UI/UX problems.
- Proficiency in documenting findings and presenting recommendations clearly and concisely.
- Familiarity with AI/Machine Learning concepts and how they impact user interaction.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience with accessibility guidelines and testing (e.g., WCAG).
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Previous experience evaluating voice user interfaces (VUIs) or conversational AI.
- A portfolio demonstrating previous UX research or evaluation projects.
