Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and trend-focused Digital Social Media Assistant to join our dynamic marketing team. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere. You will play a crucial role in supporting our social media strategy, identifying emerging trends, engaging with our community, and assisting in content creation for various platforms. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for what’s next in digital culture, a passion for social media, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor social media channels for trending topics, conversations, and competitor activities relevant to our brand and industry.
  • Assist in the creation and curation of engaging social media content, including text, image, and video posts, in line with brand guidelines.
  • Schedule and publish social media content across platforms using management tools.
  • Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support social media campaigns and initiatives, tracking performance and contributing to post-campaign reports.
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice.
  • Conduct research on social media best practices, platform updates, and emerging technologies.
  • Help maintain social media calendars and content libraries.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrable understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube).
  • Strong ability to identify and analyze current digital trends and viral content.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Basic knowledge of content creation tools (e.g., Canva, basic video editing software).
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • A genuine passion for digital marketing and social media.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Previous experience (internship or entry-level) managing social media for a brand or organization.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, native platform insights).
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello).
  • Basic graphic design or video editing skills.
