Key Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot water transfer pumps, hoses, and related equipment.
- Assemble and dismantle lay-flat hose lines and other fluid transfer systems.
- Monitor flow rates, pressures, and volumes during water transfer operations.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform preventative maintenance.
- Ensure all operations comply with company safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Participate in job safety analyses (JSAs) and hazard assessments.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of water transfer activities.
- Work collaboratively with field crews and supervisors to ensure operational efficiency.
- Respond to emergency situations and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Adhere to strict timelines and operational schedules in a dynamic environment.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and perform strenuous physical tasks.
- Willingness to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in various weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all operational procedures.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in physically demanding labor or outdoor work.
- Basic understanding of fluid dynamics or pumping systems.
- Heavy equipment operating experience (e.g., forklifts, loaders) is a plus.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR.
- Knowledge of oil and gas field operations or equipment.
