Job Description

Loblaws Companies Limited is urgently seeking motivated and reliable individuals for Unskilled Worker positions across our various operations. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive on-the-job training. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, and moving products and materials.
- Assist with basic assembly, packaging, and quality control checks as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal.
- Operate basic equipment and tools under supervision (e.g., hand trucks, pallet jacks), following safety guidelines.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Support various departments and teams with ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Basic understanding of workplace safety principles.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or industrial setting is an asset but not required.
- Ability to read and follow simple instructions.
