Job Description

Hilton Garden Inn Nottingham – Trent Bridge is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Temporary Hotel Porters to join our dynamic team on a short-term, gig-by-gig basis. As a Temporary Hotel Porter, you will be crucial in ensuring our guests have a smooth and enjoyable stay, assisting with luggage, deliveries, and general guest requests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist guests with their luggage upon arrival and departure, ensuring safe and timely delivery to rooms.
  • Escort guests to their rooms and provide information about hotel facilities and services.
  • Handle and store luggage securely for guests checking in early or departing late.
  • Assist with the delivery of items to guest rooms, such as newspapers, amenities, and room service.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the lobby, entrance, and luggage storage areas.
  • Provide courteous and efficient service, responding promptly to guest requests.
  • Support other hotel departments as needed, particularly front desk and housekeeping.
  • Adhere to all hotel safety and security procedures.
