Job Description
Join our innovative team at Siemens as a Technical Manual Annotator, specializing in Industrial AI Support. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for meticulously reviewing, analyzing, and annotating technical manuals, engineering documents, and operational guides related to industrial machinery and processes. Your work will directly support the development and training of cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence models designed to enhance efficiency, safety, and performance in industrial environments. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of technical documentation, and an interest in how data powers AI systems. You will collaborate closely with AI engineers, subject matter experts, and product development teams to ensure the accuracy and quality of annotated data.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately read, understand, and annotate complex technical manuals, blueprints, diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Categorize and tag data points within documents according to predefined guidelines and taxonomies for AI model training.
- Identify and extract key information, such as safety protocols, maintenance procedures, equipment specifications, and error codes.
- Perform quality assurance checks on annotated data to maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with AI engineers and domain experts to refine annotation guidelines and address specific data requirements.
- Provide feedback on annotation tool functionality and contribute to process improvements.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data security protocols for all project materials.
- Assist in the development of training materials and best practices for future annotation projects.
