Job Description
Join the UPS team as a Seasonal Sorter and play a critical role in our busy logistics operation. We are looking for dedicated individuals to help us sort packages efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely delivery during our peak seasons. This is a temporary position offering flexible morning and night shifts, perfect for those seeking to earn extra income and gain valuable experience with a world-renowned company. You’ll be part of a fast-paced environment, working alongside a supportive team to keep the supply chain moving.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from trucks and conveyor belts manually or with material handling equipment.
- Sort packages by destination, weight, and size onto appropriate conveyor belts or into designated areas.
- Scan package labels with handheld scanners to track movement and update system records.
- Inspect packages for damage and report any issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily sorting goals.
- Lift and move packages weighing up to 70 lbs independently and greater weights with assistance.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in sorting and scanning tasks.
- Reliability and punctuality for assigned shifts.
