Job Description
Graduate Annapolis is seeking enthusiastic and responsible students to join our team as Part-Time Valet Parkers. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in the hospitality industry, interact with a diverse clientele, and handle a range of luxury vehicles. As a Student Valet Parker, you will be the first and last point of contact for many of our guests, playing a crucial role in creating a positive impression. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, possess excellent driving skills, and are committed to delivering outstanding customer service during weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, opening doors and offering assistance.
- Safely and efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles in designated areas.
- Accurately record vehicle information and key locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized valet station and driveway.
- Provide guests with information about hotel services and local attractions as needed.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Assist with guest luggage or other requests as part of a seamless service experience.
- Communicate effectively with hotel front desk and other departments.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proficient in driving both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and run for extended periods.
- Punctual and reliable, especially for weekend shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in valet parking or a customer service role.
- Familiarity with the Annapolis area and local attractions.
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
- Ability to drive a variety of vehicle types, including luxury models.
