Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solutions Consultant to join our dynamic team in Maidenhead. In this role, you will be a key player in showcasing the value of SAP’s innovative solutions to prospective clients. You will work closely with sales, product management, and engineering teams to understand customer business challenges and demonstrate how SAP’s software can address these needs, driving digital transformation and achieving tangible business outcomes. This is a critical role for someone passionate about technology, customer success, and driving growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with prospects to understand their current business processes, pain points, and strategic objectives.
- Design and deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored to specific customer requirements and industry best practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert on SAP's product portfolio, articulating features, benefits, and competitive differentiators.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop strategic account plans and contribute to proposal development and RFI/RFP responses.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, earning trust and becoming a trusted advisor.
- Provide feedback to product management and engineering teams based on customer interactions and market trends.
- Stay current with SAP product releases, competitive landscapes, and industry trends.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Solutions Consultant, Presales Engineer, or similar client-facing technical role.
- Demonstrated expertise in enterprise software solutions (ERP, CRM, SCM, etc.).
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to understand customer business requirements and translate them into effective solution designs.
- Experience with discovery, demo creation, and value-based selling methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong analytical mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or other SAP cloud solutions.
- Industry-specific knowledge in manufacturing, retail, public sector, or financial services.
- Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate).
- Proficiency in additional European languages.
