Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Shopify Store Manager to lead our online e-commerce operations in Chatswood, NSW. While the job title reflects a broader company structure, this specific role is based in our vibrant Chatswood office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Shopify store, ensuring optimal performance, a seamless customer experience, and driving online sales. You will work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to execute e-commerce strategies and maintain our brand’s online presence. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and performance of the Shopify e-commerce store.
- Manage product listings, inventory, pricing, and promotions to maximize sales and profitability.
- Monitor website analytics and performance metrics (e.g., traffic, conversion rates, AOV) and implement data-driven improvements.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute online campaigns, SEO strategies, and digital advertising.
- Ensure website content, images, and product descriptions are accurate, engaging, and up-to-date.
- Implement A/B testing and other optimization techniques to enhance user experience and conversion.
- Stay informed about Shopify updates, e-commerce trends, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Manage customer service inquiries related to online orders and website experience.
- Troubleshoot website issues and coordinate with IT or external developers as needed.
- Prepare regular reports on store performance and present insights to stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience managing a Shopify e-commerce store.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, digital marketing, and SEO.
- Proficiency in Shopify platform features and app ecosystem.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Experience with Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage product catalogs and inventory effectively.
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HTML/CSS for minor website adjustments.
- Familiarity with other e-commerce platforms or CRM systems.
- Knowledge of Australian retail market trends.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp).
- Certification in Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
