Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Online Catalog Coordinator to join our remote team. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and appeal of our extensive online product catalog. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and updating simple product listings, ensuring all product information is correct, consistent, and optimized for customer browsing and search. Key Responsibilities
- Create new product listings with accurate titles, descriptions, images, and specifications.
- Perform regular audits of existing product data to identify and correct discrepancies.
- Ensure all product information adheres to brand guidelines and e-commerce best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., merchandising, content) to gather necessary product details.
- Manage and organize digital assets associated with product listings, such as images and videos.
- Identify opportunities for catalog optimization to improve customer experience and search visibility.
- Assist with data entry projects and catalog clean-up initiatives as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms or content management systems is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in data entry, catalog management, or a similar administrative role.
- Experience with product information management (PIM) systems.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles for product listings.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new software and tools quickly.
