Key Responsibilities
- Perform regularly scheduled musical sets as a soloist or part of an ensemble, adhering to performance schedules and repertoire requirements.
- Participate in rehearsals, sound checks, and stage setup to ensure high-quality performances.
- Maintain instruments and equipment in excellent working condition.
- Interact positively with guests, contributing to a welcoming and engaging atmosphere onboard.
- Collaborate effectively with other musicians, entertainers, and production staff.
- Adhere to all shipboard safety procedures and company policies.
- Adapt to diverse musical genres and performance demands.
- Contribute to themed nights and special events as required.
Required Skills
- Exceptional proficiency on at least one primary instrument (e.g., piano, guitar, bass, drums, saxophone, trumpet, violin, voice).
- Strong sight-reading abilities and improvisation skills.
- Proven ability to perform various musical styles, including pop, jazz, classical, rock, and contemporary.
- Excellent stage presence and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, live performance environment.
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
- Adaptability to new challenges and changing performance demands.
- Valid passport and eligibility to travel internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience performing on cruise ships, in resorts, or in professional touring bands.
- Ability to play multiple instruments (multi-instrumentalist).
- Experience with music production software or digital audio workstations (DAWs).
- Formal music education or conservatory training.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
