We are seeking a visionary and driven Product Manager to join our team in Abbotsford, focusing on exciting new product initiatives with a true ‘startup within a company’ ethos. As a Product Manager, you will be instrumental in defining and delivering the next generation of social technology. You will champion a new product area from conception to launch, working in a fast-paced, hybrid environment where your strategic thinking and execution skills will be critical.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and clearly communicate the product vision, strategy, and comprehensive roadmap for your assigned product area.
- Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and in-depth customer interviews to pinpoint emerging opportunities and address unmet user needs.
- Translate high-level product strategy into detailed functional requirements, user stories, and interactive prototypes.
- Effectively prioritize features and initiatives, balancing business impact, customer value, and technical feasibility.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
- Continuously monitor product performance using key metrics, analyze data insights, and iterate on features to optimize user experience and achieve business objectives.
- Actively champion agile development methodologies and foster a culture of continuous improvement within your team.
Required Skills
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on product management experience within a technology-focused company.
- Demonstrated success in leading the launch of multiple successful software products from concept to market.
- Strong working knowledge and practical experience with agile product development methodologies.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to think strategically about product direction while also executing meticulously on details.
- Proficiency in conducting user research, setting up and analyzing A/B tests, and performing data-driven analysis to inform decisions.
- Hands-on experience with standard product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Figma.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a closely related discipline.
- Prior experience specifically within social media platforms, SaaS products, or B2B software solutions.
- Familiarity with global market entry strategies and the complexities of international product launches.
- Experience working in a dynamic startup or a rapidly growing tech environment.
- An MBA or other relevant Master's degree is a plus.
