Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pinterest Image Editor with a strong focus on bulk processing to join our dynamic marketing team in Fort Wayne. In this role, you will be responsible for editing, optimizing, and preparing a high volume of product images specifically for our Pinterest marketing channels. Your primary goal will be to ensure all visual content aligns with Wayfair’s brand guidelines, Pinterest best practices, and drives engagement and conversions. This position requires exceptional proficiency in image editing software, an eye for aesthetics, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines with weekly pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume image editing, retouching, and manipulation of product photos for Pinterest, ensuring brand consistency and visual appeal.
- Optimize images for Pinterest specifications, including sizing, aspect ratios, file formats, and file size to ensure fast loading and optimal display.
- Categorize, tag, and organize large batches of images efficiently within our digital asset management system.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to understand content strategies and ensure all visual assets support campaigns.
- Maintain a keen understanding of Pinterest trends, algorithm changes, and best practices for image optimization.
- Ensure all images adhere to copyright and usage guidelines.
- Provide quality control for all outgoing Pinterest visual content.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or similar professional image editing software (e.g., GIMP, Affinity Photo).
- Strong understanding of image optimization techniques for web and social media platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics and brand consistency.
- Ability to work efficiently on a high volume of images with precision.
- Solid organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with Pinterest as a marketing tool and an understanding of its visual requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of professional experience in image editing, graphic design, or a similar role, specifically with bulk processing tasks.
- Experience working in an e-commerce or retail environment.
- Knowledge of basic graphic design principles and typography.
- Familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) systems.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira).
