Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented WFH Google Logistics Clerk to support our global supply chain operations. This fully remote role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and information across Google’s extensive international network. You will be responsible for a variety of administrative and coordination tasks, playing a key part in the operational success of our logistics team. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process shipping documentation, including invoices, purchase orders, and customs forms.
- Track and monitor inbound and outbound shipments, updating status in internal systems.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve logistics-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records and databases of inventory and shipment information.
- Assist in the preparation of reports on logistics performance and key metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping regulations and company policies.
- Support the logistics team with administrative tasks as needed.
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency in supply chain operations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably within logistics or supply chain.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets) or Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced virtual environment.
- Basic understanding of global supply chain processes and terminology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or supply chain management (SCM) software.
- Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
- Multilingual abilities, particularly in languages relevant to global trade.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and resolve problems.
