Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, including receiving and processing prescriptions.
- Learn and perform duties such as data entry, counting pills, labeling bottles, and maintaining patient records under direct supervision.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering patient questions, and assisting with various pharmacy services.
- Manage inventory, including stocking shelves, monitoring expiration dates, and assisting with order placement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Successfully complete all required training modules and certifications to advance to a Pharmacy Technician role.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency
- Commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality (HIPAA)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role
- Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish)
- Familiarity with medical terminology
