Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Market Researcher to join our team in Downtown Lubbock. In this exciting role, you will play a crucial part in analyzing Netflix audience trends, consumer behavior, and media consumption patterns. You will support senior researchers in collecting, processing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights for our clients in the entertainment industry. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and execution of quantitative and qualitative market research studies focused on Netflix audience trends.
  • Collect and process raw data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Perform preliminary data analysis using statistical software and spreadsheet tools.
  • Prepare charts, graphs, and tables to visualize research findings.
  • Contribute to the drafting of research reports and presentations, summarizing key insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor industry news and trends related to streaming services and digital media.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.
  • Maintain organized documentation of research methodologies and findings.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, Sociology, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data manipulation, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Basic understanding of research methodologies and statistical concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or project experience in market research, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with survey software (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of the media and entertainment industry, particularly streaming services.
  • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python) is a plus.
