Job Description

Join the Cardinal Health team as a Pharmacy Logistics Hand in our state-of-the-art warehouse facility in South Bend, IN. This is a crucial role within our supply chain, ensuring the accurate and timely distribution of pharmaceutical products. This position involves handling a variety of tasks related to receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping pharmaceutical items. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming pharmaceutical products, verify against purchase orders, and document discrepancies.
  • Accurately store products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
  • Perform order picking using handheld scanners or other warehouse management systems.
  • Package products securely for shipment, adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
  • Prepare outbound shipments, including labeling and loading onto trucks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, following all hygiene and safety protocols.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if necessary).
  • Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock reconciliation as required.
  • Report any product damage, discrepancies, or safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to controlled substances and pharmaceutical handling.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
  • Basic computer literacy (for using scanners/warehouse systems).

Preferred Qualifications
