Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Weekend Trailer Loader to join our Escondido distribution center team. This is a part-time, stable role perfect for individuals looking for consistent weekend work. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload trailers using appropriate equipment, such as pallet jacks or by hand.
- Organize and stack products according to established procedures to maximize trailer space and ensure secure transport.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against manifest documents for accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding loading schedules and discrepancies.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong physical stamina and endurance for repetitive tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing shipments.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Reliability and punctuality for weekend shifts.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to read and follow instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar physical labor role.
- Experience operating pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
