Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and dedicated Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our team in Dundee. This role involves making local deliveries of prescriptions and pharmacy items to our customers’ homes and care facilities. The work is light, focusing on careful handling of packages and providing friendly service. You’ll be an essential link in ensuring our customers receive their vital medications and health products efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently deliver pharmacy prescriptions and products to designated locations within the local Dundee area.
  • Adhere to all road safety regulations and company driving policies.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service during deliveries.
  • Ensure the secure handling and transport of all packages.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain necessary signatures.
  • Represent Boots positively in the community.

Required Skills

  • Valid UK driving licence with a clean record.
  • Excellent knowledge of the local Dundee area roads and routes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
  • Good physical condition for light lifting and prolonged driving.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a delivery or customer service role.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy operations or medical deliveries.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
