Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and discreet Voiceover Recording Studio Receptionist to join our professional team in Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne. This role is crucial to maintaining the serene and efficient atmosphere of our busy voiceover studios. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will embody our commitment to excellence, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from arrival to departure. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess exceptional communication skills, and thrive in a quiet, creative environment where attention to detail and discretion are paramount. While previous experience is preferred, we value a calm demeanor and a proactive approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome clients and guests to the studio, managing their arrival and departure efficiently.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel with professionalism and discretion.
  • Manage studio booking schedules and maintain an organized calendar for recording sessions.
  • Prepare and maintain the reception area and client waiting areas, ensuring a tidy and welcoming environment.
  • Assist with light administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and managing correspondence.
  • Provide refreshments to clients as needed, maintaining a high standard of hospitality.
  • Liaise with studio engineers and producers to ensure smooth transitions between sessions.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client projects and studio operations.
  • Monitor studio access and ensure security protocols are followed.
  • Assist with general office upkeep and supplies management.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
