Job Description
Join the vibrant team at Saddlebrook Resort & Spa as a Part-time Beverage Server, focusing on our bustling weekend operations. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced resort environment and are dedicated to providing outstanding service. You will be responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in various resort outlets, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present beverage menus.
- Take drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to all resort standards and local regulations.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service, checking IDs as required.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of beverage stations and service areas.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down event spaces as needed.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service.
- Collaborate with kitchen and other service staff to ensure seamless guest experience.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Basic math skills for handling payments.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs during shifts.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays is essential.
- Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a beverage server or in a similar hospitality role.
- Knowledge of common drink recipes and wine pairings.
- TIPS or similar responsible alcohol service certification.
