Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior producers in all stages of music production, from conceptualization to final mixdown.
- Perform sound design, beat making, and instrument recording using a variety of DAWs and software.
- Operate and maintain studio equipment, ensuring optimal performance and troubleshooting minor issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate audio elements into new tech products and platforms.
- Research and experiment with new production techniques, software, and audio technologies.
- Organize and manage audio files, project assets, and production documentation.
- Provide creative input and feedback during team brainstorming sessions and project reviews.
- Prepare and optimize audio for various digital formats and delivery platforms.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one major Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) such as Ableton Live, Logic Pro X, FL Studio, or Pro Tools.
- Basic understanding of audio engineering principles including mixing, mastering, and signal flow.
- Demonstrated ability to create original musical compositions and soundscapes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with modern music production workflows and plugins.
- A keen ear for detail and a passion for diverse musical genres.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Music Production, Audio Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience with sound design for games, apps, or interactive media.
- Knowledge of music theory and composition.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) for audio projects.
- Experience with synthesis (subtractive, additive, FM, granular) and sampling techniques.
- Portfolio showcasing original music production work (demos, tracks, sound design projects).
