Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Mobile Porter to join our team in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This crucial role involves providing essential logistical support across multiple Premier Inn sites within the region. You will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of luggage, supplies, and equipment between hotels, ensuring our operations run smoothly and our guests receive the highest standard of service. A company van will be provided for all work-related travel. If you’re a proactive individual with a strong work ethic and excellent driving skills, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Transporting luggage, equipment, and supplies between multiple Premier Inn locations within West Yorkshire using a company van.
- Assisting guests with luggage upon arrival and departure, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of the company van and all transported items.
- Performing general errands and support tasks as directed by hotel management across different sites.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Reporting any maintenance or vehicle issues promptly.
- Ensuring timely and efficient delivery schedules are met.
Required Skills
- Valid UK Driving License (Category B minimum).
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 25kg).
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to travel between various hotel sites daily.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a porter, logistics, or multi-site delivery role.
- Knowledge of the West Yorkshire area and local routes.
- Experience driving a light commercial vehicle.
