Job Description

Are you passionate about live events and eager to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of festival production? Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Festival Production & Logistics Intern to join our team in Cleveland. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn the intricacies of event planning, operational execution, and logistical coordination for various festivals and live events. You will work closely with experienced production managers and contribute directly to bringing large-scale events to life, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the production team with pre-event planning, including vendor research, communication, and contract management.
  • Support logistical coordination for equipment, staging, lighting, sound, and other production elements.
  • Help manage inventory of production supplies and ensure timely delivery to event sites.
  • Contribute to site setup and breakdown, assisting with stage management, signage placement, and operational flow.
  • Aid in creating and maintaining detailed production schedules, call sheets, and contact lists.
  • Provide on-site support during festival days, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Coordinate with various departments, including security, medical, concessions, and talent relations, to ensure integrated operations.
  • Assist with post-event reconciliation, including inventory checks, vendor payments, and reporting.
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the production and logistics teams.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., Event Management, Communications, Arts Administration, Business).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (paid or unpaid) in event planning, production, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with the live music or festival industry.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello).
  • A passion for live entertainment and creating memorable experiences.
