Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Microsoft Web Developer to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring developer with foundational knowledge in Microsoft technologies and a passion for modern web frameworks. You will work on cutting-edge projects, contributing to the development of robust, scalable, and user-friendly web applications. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while collaborating with a talented team across different time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Collaborate with senior developers and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues, ensuring optimal performance and functionality of applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web development.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in C# and the .NET platform (ideally .NET Core).
- Familiarity with ASP.NET Core for web application development.
- Understanding of front-end web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
- Experience with relational databases, particularly SQL Server.
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with a modern JavaScript framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with unit testing and integration testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
