Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our team as Entry Level Patient Movers. This is a unique opportunity to begin a rewarding career in healthcare with no prior experience required, as we provide 100% paid comprehensive training. As a Patient Mover, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and safe transportation of patients within our hospital facilities. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently transport patients between wards, departments, and diagnostic areas using appropriate equipment (e.g., wheelchairs, beds, trolleys).
  • Assist patients with mobility, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times.
  • Communicate effectively and courteously with patients, their families, and hospital staff.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines, infection control procedures, and patient handling protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of transport equipment.
  • Respond promptly to requests for patient transport, prioritising according to urgency.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure seamless patient flow.
