Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Content Curator to join our remote team, with a specific focus on Netflix Originals content. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and discoverability of content metadata for a vast library of beloved shows and movies. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level professional with a passion for streaming content, meticulous attention to detail, and a desire to contribute to the global entertainment landscape. The position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, edit, and enhance content metadata (synopses, genre tags, cast/crew information, keywords) for Netflix Originals.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of all metadata across various platforms and databases.
- Verify adherence to established style guides, terminology, and content standards specific to Netflix.
- Identify and report discrepancies or issues in content information.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., project managers, quality control) to resolve content-related queries.
- Stay updated on new Netflix Originals releases and industry content trends.
- Assist in maintaining and updating content databases and asset management systems.
- Provide feedback and contribute to process improvements for content curation workflows.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with various computer applications and data entry.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
