Job Description

As an Investor Relations Manager at RBC, you will play a critical role in shaping and communicating RBC’s investment story to the global investment community. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with institutional investors, sell-side analysts, and other key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and providing accurate financial information. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, sell-side analysts, and rating agencies.
  • Prepare and deliver investor presentations, earnings call scripts, and Q&A documents.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor performance, and investor sentiment.
  • Coordinate quarterly earnings calls, investor conferences, and roadshows.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual reports, financial statements, and other regulatory filings.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to the investment community while adhering to disclosure policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Finance, Legal, Communications, and Executive Leadership.
  • Manage and update the investor relations section of the company website.
  • Handle investor inquiries and provide responses in a professional and consistent manner.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in investor relations, equity research, corporate finance, or a related financial role.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, accounting principles, and valuation methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CFA designation or MBA.
  • Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with IR software and databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv).
  • Proven track record of successful investor engagement.
  • Experience working in a large, publicly traded company environment.
