Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our tech industry warehouse team in Pasco, WA. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of incoming and outgoing tech components and finished products, ensuring accuracy, organization, and efficiency across all inventory operations. You will play a crucial part in maintaining optimal stock levels, preventing discrepancies, and supporting our mission to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate counting, weighing, and identification of incoming materials and products.
- Verify shipments against purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies with suppliers.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas, optimizing space utilization.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and generate reports.
- Identify and report damaged, defective, or misplaced items.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely movement of goods.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies within the warehouse environment.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency, including data entry.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory management role.
- Familiarity with inventory control systems (e.g., WMS, ERP).
- Experience with forklifts or other material handling equipment (certification a plus).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
