Job Description

Are you a highly observant individual with an eye for detail and a passion for customer experience? NielsenIQ is seeking enthusiastic and high-energy Retail Experience Raters to join our field team. In this role, you will travel to various retail locations within a designated region, evaluating the overall customer experience, product placement, promotional execution, and service quality. This is a critical role that provides valuable insights to our clients, helping them improve their retail operations. A travel stipend will be provided to support your on-the-go contributions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled visits to a variety of retail stores, including grocery, convenience, and specialty shops.
  • Systematically observe and document aspects of the retail environment, such as store cleanliness, layout, product availability, pricing accuracy, and promotional displays.
  • Evaluate customer service interactions, noting efficiency, friendliness, and problem-solving skills of staff.
  • Accurately record data and observations using our proprietary mobile application or provided tools.
  • Submit detailed and objective reports within specified deadlines.
  • Adhere strictly to project guidelines, protocols, and ethical standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team leads regarding findings, challenges, or scheduling changes.
  • Manage travel logistics efficiently to cover assigned territories.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong observational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in using mobile devices and basic computer applications for data entry.
  • High level of reliability and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
