Job Description
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Counters to join our team for night shifts. This is a casual position offering flexible hours and shift pay. As an Inventory Counter, you will be crucial in ensuring accurate stock levels, which directly impacts our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will primarily work during non-operating hours, counting merchandise, verifying data, and assisting with stock reconciliation. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately count and record merchandise in designated areas during night shifts.
- Verify product quantities against system records and identify discrepancies.
- Report any significant inventory variances to the shift supervisor.
- Organize and maintain a tidy work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with product movements and stock rotation as needed.
- Operate basic inventory scanning equipment (training provided).
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled night shifts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in inventory management, retail, or warehousing.
- Familiarity with inventory tracking systems or handheld scanners.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
