Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Apple Supply Chain Analyst with a strong focus on logistics to join our global team. This is a 100% remote position where you will play a crucial role in optimizing the end-to-end supply chain for Apple-related projects, ensuring the efficient flow of materials, products, and information to meet stringent timelines and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of logistics processes, inventory management, and demand forecasting within a fast-paced technology environment. You will leverage data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement, mitigate risks, and contribute to the overall resilience and cost-effectiveness of our supply chain operations related to Apple products. Your expertise will be vital in supporting strategic decisions and enhancing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data, including inventory levels, shipping schedules, and demand forecasts, to identify trends and potential bottlenecks.
- Develop and implement logistics optimization strategies to reduce costs, improve delivery times, and enhance supply chain efficiency for Apple-related components and finished goods.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, manufacturing, sales, and external partners to ensure seamless execution of supply chain plans.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports on supply chain performance, highlighting areas of success and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in the planning and execution of new product introductions (NPIs) by providing supply chain insights and recommendations.
- Identify and resolve complex logistics issues, working proactively to prevent disruptions in the supply chain.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies in supply chain and logistics.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis or logistics, preferably within the electronics or high-tech manufacturing sector.
- Proven experience with advanced data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including inventory management, demand planning, and transportation logistics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience working directly with or for companies in the Apple ecosystem or similar consumer electronics giants.
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CSCP, CPIM).
- Familiarity with global trade compliance and international shipping regulations.
