Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead the operations of our Courtyard by Marriott property in Prescott, AZ. This executive-level role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in hotel management, a passion for guest satisfaction, and a commitment to operational excellence. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, including guest services, financial performance, team leadership, sales and marketing, and compliance with brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve financial goals, including revenue growth and cost control.
  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by monitoring service quality and addressing feedback proactively.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Maintain high standards of property appearance, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and execute local marketing and sales initiatives to drive occupancy and average daily rate (ADR).
  • Ensure compliance with all brand standards, company policies, and local regulations.
  • Build strong relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and key stakeholders.
  • Implement and manage property safety and security procedures.
  • Lead capital expenditure projects and property renovations as needed.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as a Hotel General Manager in a full-service or select-service property.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive financial performance (P&L responsibility).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest service and satisfaction scores.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to relocate to Prescott, AZ.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the US, with sponsorship available for qualified candidates.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with the Marriott brand and its operational standards.
  • Certifications in hospitality management (e.g., CHA, CHSP).
  • Experience with diverse market segments (leisure, corporate, group).
