Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our bank staff as Hospital Porters. This pivotal role involves providing essential support across our hospital sites, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of patients, equipment, and critical items. Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport patients, including those with mobility issues, by wheelchair or bed, between wards, departments, and clinics.
- Move medical equipment, laboratory samples, patient records, and supplies throughout the hospital in a timely manner.
- Assist with the transfer and positioning of patients as required, following proper manual handling techniques.
- Collect and deliver mail, pharmacy items, and other essential goods.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of transport equipment.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform duties that require standing, walking, pushing, and lifting for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
