Job Description
Are you passionate about Apple products and providing top-tier technical support? Computacenter is seeking a dedicated Apple Professional Aide to join our remote support team. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting users with their Apple hardware and software issues, ensuring seamless operations and high levels of customer satisfaction. This is a 100% remote position, open to candidates across all UK regions, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from home while contributing to a dynamic and innovative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical assistance and support for Apple macOS and iOS operating systems, hardware (MacBooks, iMacs, iPhones, iPads), and associated software applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by users via phone, email, chat, and remote desktop tools.
- Guide users through step-by-step solutions, ensuring clear communication and effective problem resolution.
- Document all support interactions and resolutions accurately in the helpdesk system.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
- Stay updated with the latest Apple products, services, and best practices.
- Contribute to knowledge base articles and internal documentation.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and courteous service.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with Apple macOS and iOS platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Patience, empathy, and a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in using remote support tools and helpdesk ticketing systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) certification.
- Previous experience in a remote technical support role.
- Familiarity with corporate IT environments and network troubleshooting.
- Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions for Apple devices.
