Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and aspiring HealthTech App Development Intern to join our innovative Telemedicine team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing cutting-edge mobile applications that connect patients with healthcare providers, improving accessibility and efficiency of medical services. You will work alongside experienced developers, product managers, and UI/UX designers, contributing to real-world projects that make a tangible difference in people’s lives. This role is perfect for a student or recent graduate eager to apply their programming skills in a meaningful, fast-paced health technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and testing of new features for our existing telemedicine mobile applications (iOS/Android).
- Collaborate with senior developers to troubleshoot bugs and improve application performance and stability.
- Participate in code reviews, contributing to a culture of quality and best practices.
- Help write and maintain technical documentation for features and functionalities.
- Conduct research on emerging mobile technologies and telemedicine trends to inform future development.
- Contribute to the user interface and user experience design process, ensuring intuitive and accessible applications.
- Work within an agile development framework, participating in sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
Required Skills
- Familiarity with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Kotlin, Swift, JavaScript).
- Basic understanding of mobile application development concepts (iOS or Android).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with mobile development frameworks such as React Native, Flutter, Swift UI, or Android Jetpack Compose.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and RESTful API integration.
- Exposure to UI/UX principles and design tools.
- An understanding of healthcare industry challenges and a passion for health technology.
- Previous internship or project experience in software development.
