Job Description
Are you a detail-oriented individual with exceptional typing skills looking for a flexible, remote opportunity? Chegg is seeking an Online Word Processor to assist 14-year-old teens with their academic projects and document preparation. This role is perfect for someone who is patient, precise, and enjoys helping young learners by ensuring their written work is impeccably presented. You will be responsible for typing, formatting, and light proofreading of various documents, contributing to the success and confidence of our student users. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from your preferred location.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately type and transcribe content from various sources into digital documents.
- Format documents according to specified guidelines, including headings, bullet points, and spacing.
- Conduct basic proofreading to identify and correct grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and punctuation issues.
- Ensure consistency and clarity across all assigned documents.
- Organize and manage digital files efficiently, adhering to naming conventions.
- Communicate effectively and promptly with project managers regarding progress and any questions.
- Adhere to project deadlines and maintain a high standard of quality in all deliverables.
