Job Description

Are you looking for an entry-level opportunity to learn a valuable trade with a company that puts safety first? Handyman Connection of Moncton is seeking a motivated and reliable Gutter Cleaning Trainee to join our growing team. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training and all necessary full safety gear. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, are not afraid of heights, and are eager to learn the proper techniques for professional gutter maintenance and cleaning. You will work alongside experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience and developing skills that are in high demand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead technicians in the preparation and execution of gutter cleaning services.
  • Learn and strictly adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures, including proper use of ladders, harnesses, and other safety equipment.
  • Safely and efficiently remove debris from gutters and downspouts.
  • Inspect gutters for potential issues such as damage or blockages.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and client properties.
  • Clean and properly store tools and equipment after each job.
  • Communicate effectively with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Adhere to scheduled appointments and complete tasks within designated timeframes.

  • Ability to safely work at heights (with proper safety gear and training).
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
